Toldya, a lime-green alien mascot wearing headphones

For Discord communities

Add Toldya to your Discord.

Choose the channels that matter. Toldya can relay new messages and embedded alerts from those channels to subscribed members, who hear them out loud through the Toldya Chrome extension.

You need to own the server or have Administrator / Manage Server permission.

Setup

Three steps. No change to your alert workflow.

1

Authorize Toldya

Add the official Toldya bot to a Discord server you manage.

2

Choose channels

Select exactly which text channels Toldya may relay. New channels stay off until an admin selects them.

3

Members connect once

Subscribed members connect their Discord account in Toldya. They hear alerts only from Toldya-enabled servers they actually belong to.

Admin control

Your server. Your channels.

Installing the bot does not make every channel a Toldya channel. The relay uses only channels explicitly selected by a server admin. You can return to setup later to change that selection without changing how your moderators publish alerts.

Member access

Permission-aware

Toldya verifies that a member belongs to a configured Discord server before authorizing server alerts for that member.

Listening

Discord can be closed

Server alerts arrive through Toldya's relay, so the Discord tab does not need to stay open. Chrome and the Toldya extension still need to be running for speech.

Early access

Server integration is live.

We are onboarding Discord communities while the integration is still in early access. Server setup is free during early access; members subscribe to Toldya individually.
